Shawn was raised right here in the Heart of the Finger Lakes and began his real estate career with Finger Lakes Realty 8 years ago. Shawn's grandparents, Harold & Norma Broome, built the Show Boat Motel in the 1960's. In the 70's, his parents, Raymond & Lois Broome, took over the motel and built the restaurant. Shawn and his family then moved to Penn Yan where he did his schooling at Emmanuel Baptist Academy. Out of school, Shawn worked at a few different sales and customer service jobs, where he learned how to listen to what the customer is looking for and to better serve their needs. The next 8 years, Shawn was a General Contractor for ProCraft NY specializing in panelized and modular homes. He is now an Associate Broker with Finger Lakes Realty and absolutely loves helping people find their Dream Home. Shawn's diverse background and general knowledge of homes gives him an advantage when listing or selling your home you've loved for many years, or helping you find your next castle.
